Women represent the world’s largest and fastest growing market and one that has been largely overlooked by the incumbent and fintech sectors alike.

As Financial Alliance for Women research in 2020 and 2021 has demonstrated, fintechs are well-positioned to tap into the vast, underserved women’s market.

Financial Alliance for Women launched the annual Hackathon in 2020 to help fintechs capitalize on this multi-trillion dollar opportunity while supporting women, their families, and communities.

The Alliance Hack in its third edition draws on the deep expertise of Alliance members—a network of 85+ financial services providers, including commercial banks, payments, insurance companies and fintechs—in order to support more fintechs in designing gender-intelligent solutions.
