Issuers have turned to Citi for inaugural issuances, repeat business and their largest landmark transactions, demonstrating the structuring and execution expertise to meet client needs. As an Analyst, you will be assigned to an industry or product coverage group, where you gain invaluable exposure to Citi's global businesses during a two-year, comprehensive training program taught by industry experts. At the conclusion of the program, many Analysts are invited to stay for a third year and many move on to become Associates.

Analyst

As a full-time Analyst at Citi, you will be immersed in corporate finance theory, and actively involved in the preparation of a broad set of client-related materials. By the end of the program, you will have worked directly with senior bankers and product partners across the Citi platform, becoming an expert in complex financial modeling and industry analysis, and intimately familiar with deal structuring.

Associate

As a full-time Associate at Citi, you will be an active member of the transaction and client teams. In this role, you will play an important part in developing the analytical framework leading to a solution. Your direct contribution will help shape the transaction team's thinking and you may often be asked to join the team in presenting materials to clients. Mastery of modeling, industry fundamentals, the ability to draw conclusions from disparate data, and high energy are prerequisites to success in this important position.

Summer Analyst

As a Summer Analyst, you will receive formal training in the Corporate Banking business where you will master the tools required to be successful in your summer roles. Following classroom training, you will be assigned to an industry or product coverage group based on your interests and group availability. You will also have the opportunity to become involved in a formal mentor program, which allows you to establish connections with Citi's more experienced bankers to assist in developing your career objectives.

Summer Associate

As a Summer Associate, you will participate in all aspects of deal origination and execution, as well as engage with senior bankers and clients, gaining an understanding of how best to address client needs. Analyst

Analysts play a key role in Investment Banking, providing research, valuation and modeling, and coordination as the foundation for advising corporate clients in financial matters, including strategic maneuvers (Mergers & Acquisitions) and capital structure (Corporate Finance). Summer Associate

As a Summer Associate, you will work with an Analyst team, learning day-to-day responsibilities, as well as focusing on a specific project. You will be responsible for creating, updating and maintaining spreadsheets, quantitative models and databases of assigned companies, proofreading industry/company reports and preparing written material for event-driven morning calls. Summer Analyst

Citi Private Bank's 24-month Analyst Program develops the skills required to become a member of a product or sales team within the Private Bank. Analysts rotate across Sales with Banker Teams, Investments and Product Areas with product teams. Depending on analyst’s location, a typical 2 years will be split with a 1 year Investment focus, 6 months in sales with a Private Banker and another 6 months learning another product area. Analysts will perform a wide range of tasks that may vary depending upon the team to which they are assigned. Responsibilities may include developing financial models, evaluating investment ideas for clients, preparing presentations for client visits and prospecting new client business.

Analyst

The Markets Quantitative Analysis Department plays a vital role in the Institutional Clients Group. Markets Quantitative Analysis builds tools and models that assist traders and clients in pricing, hedging and structuring of securities, and provides critical information and advice for managing risk across all market trading units. As an Analyst, you will spend time in both Research and in a Quantitative Trading function, learning first-hand about the increasingly quantitative and technical demands of the financial world. Strong technical and quantitative abilities are key to success in this area.

Associate

As a Full-Time Associate, you will rotate between Markets Quantitative Analysis and Quantitative Trading groups. You will have the opportunity to take part in formalized training, as well as learn on-the-job from senior professionals from various quantitative areas within the Firm. Strong mathematical and technical skills are integral to your success. In addition, the ability to carry on creative research and synthesize information as well as communicate across customers, traders and salespeople are important skills that will allow you to be successful in this role. A PhD degree, or Masters degree with at least 2 years of full-time work experience are required.

Summer Analyst

As a Summer Analyst, you will be assigned a mentor and attend weekly research seminars, which provide an overview of the department and the Firm. In addition to formal training, you will work directly with a research analyst to develop an understanding of a specific segment of the market and contribute to the research produced by the department.

Summer Associate

As a Summer Associate, you will be placed into a Markets Quantitative Analysis or Quantitative Trading group. In addition to your group-specific project(s), you will attend seminars multiple times weekly. During these seminars, senior professionals from various quantitative areas within the Firm will provide overviews of their markets and strategic approaches to analyzing their respective sectors. Strong mathematical and technical skills, the ability to carry on creative research and synthesize information, as well as highly effective communication skills in order to liaise with customers, colleagues, traders and salespeople alike are keys to success in this area. Working toward the completion of a PhD degree, or Masters degree with at least 2 years of full-time work experience, is required.

Our Consumer Banking Leadership Program is based in the US and consists of seven tracks for which you can apply - Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Citi Cards, CitiMortgage, Citi Commercial Bank, Global Consumer Marketing and Internet Office (GCMIO), Governance, Regulatory and External Affairs (GREA) and Retail Services.

As an Associate, you will gain a holistic view of our Consumer businesses with assignments designed to provide exposure into how we conduct business on a daily basis, as well as the structural and cultural challenges facing consumer leaders. This program is for MBA graduates with a concentration in Finance, Economics, Management, Corporate Strategy and Marketing.

Summer Associate

Management Associate

The North America Consumer Banking Analytics program (NACB Analytics) will focus on two disciplines: Decision Management and Risk Management. Each of these disciplines supports Citi's Consumer Banking Business which primarily consists of Credit Cards and Retail Banking and Mortgages in North America as well as globally. This community objectively connects and analyzes information, to create actionable intelligence for our business leaders. Decision Management focuses on segmentation and opportunity sizing; Risk Management is a discipline that is tasked with balancing the reward from lending to millions of potential and existing customers with the risk of potential losses from non-repayment, managing portfolio exposure and designing programs that drive profitability.

Analyst

Citi Cards North America (N.A.) is the market leader in the credit card industry. With a global brand and distribution, this franchise stands as a leader in customer service technology, security and fraud prevention. As an Analyst, you will be assigned to one of the key functions within the cards business, for example: risk management, product management and cards sales and marketing. You will benefit from exposure to cross-functional projects offering interaction with the various groups across the Cards N.A. business. Your assignment will be based in the New York metro area and will last approximately 18 months. This undergraduate program offers important development through formal training, a mentorship program, and a short-term operations assignment.

Analyst

Commercial Banking for North America Consumer provides a full suite of financial solutions for business and commercial customers with annual sales ranging from $5 million to $250+ million. Solutions include Deposit and Lending options, as well as complete Cash Management, Trade, Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Derivatives. As an Analyst, you will be assigned to a specific market within Commercial Banking for the duration of the program and final placement. Job responsibilities are designed to immediately utilize formal training in practical applications supporting business needs such as credit risk analysis, product/service operations, customer focus, the sales process, etc. You will take part in a structured 18-month development program consisting of training, as well as practical on-the-job experiences, including credit analysis, customer calls, credit reviews and sales. You will also take part in 13 weeks of formal commercial credit training to acquire the skills necessary to structure commercial deals and analyze credit risk when dealing with client financial statements, risk portfolios and credit transactions.

Our Citi Compliance Associate Program is a two year program in Compliance whereby associates rotate through (4) four areas every (6) six months. As an Associate in the Global Engagement Management Program, you will take part in a two-and-a-half-year program designed to offer two "in-country" rotations lasting approximately one year each. Each rotation will be in a priority country with your second rotation in the country where you will be permanently placed. You will receive cross-business and cross-geography rotational assignments, along with special training and mentorship, as part of our goal to create the next generation of global-minded managers and bankers. We are looking for exceptional candidates who want to live, work and find success in economies outside the United States, and who are ready to make a genuine commitment to building a career in financial services management with an emphasis on expanding high-growth economies. Significant work/study experience in a country and/or region other than one's home country and fluency in two languages, including English, are keys to success as an Associate.

Analyst

The Finance Analyst Program (FA) is a three-year entry-level developmental program which introduces college graduates to Finance through diversified experiences. This Program offers a unique perspective providing development opportunities in Finance while supporting various functions and businesses. During the first two years Finance Analysts are placed in a specific role within one of the Finance functions: Controllers, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, M&A, Strategy, and Investor Relations. During this time, Analysts work closely with management teams and are provided the opportunity to add value to the company through responsibilities including product control, financial closings and consolidations, developing financial controls, management reporting, planning and analysis, and management of balance sheets and liquidity. For the third year FAs will be required to move to a role supporting another product, function or legal entity to help broaden their finance skills, knowledge of the organization, and expand their network. Success in the FA program is a solid first step towards a successful Finance career at Citi.

Training:

All Finance Analysts participate in a comprehensive training program in July and August in New York City. Training begins with a Citi orientation followed by technical training and soft skills training including presentation skills, communication skills and leadership skills. This training will facilitate the ability to immediately contribute to their initial rotation.

Associate

The Finance Management Associate Program (FMA) is a “Global Citi Finance Leadership Development Program for MBAs.” The program is designed to create a pipeline of future Finance leaders with experience in multiple Finance disciplines. Finance Management Associates (FMAs) have the opportunity to work closely with senior-level finance managers in key functional specialties including Controllers, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, Tax, Investor Relations, Strategy, and M&A. The FMA program is unique due to the various product/region/function/legal entity perspectives the FMAs experience. The FMA program consists of three, six-month rotations in which FMAs have the opportunity to contribute to multiple Citi Finance Functions with a required rotation in Treasury and Controllers. There is an opportunity, based on performance, for one international rotation while on program.

Training:

All Finance Associates participate in a comprehensive global training program beginning in August in New York City. This training will facilitate the ability for each Associate to immediately contribute to their initial rotation. The program begins with “Welcome Week” where Associates have the opportunity to interact with Citi’s senior finance leadership team and provides networking opportunities. This week is followed by an intensive program led by internal and external subject matter experts. Summer Analyst

The Summer Finance Analyst Program (SFA) is a developmental program which introduces college students to Finance through diversified experiences and continues to be a significant feeder pool for the Full-Time Finance Analyst program. This 10-week program offers a unique perspective providing development opportunities in Finance while supporting various functions and businesses and a specific role within one of the Finance functions: Controllers, Treasury, Strategy, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, M&A, and Investor Relations. Summer Analysts work closely with management teams and are provided the opportunity to add value to the company through responsibilities including product control, financial closings and consolidations, developing financial controls, management reporting, planning and analysis, and management of balance sheets and liquidity.

Training:

Summer Finance Analysts will begin their program in New York City with a series of classroom training sessions. These functional and technical training programs are designed to promote professional development and effective work habits during our Analysts’ time here at Citi. Analysts will undergo an orientation to Citi, including business overviews from seasoned professionals within the various Finance Functions. The program will offer learning and development opportunities in technical finance and financial accounting skills as well as building communication and presentation skills.

Summer Associate

The Summer Finance Management Associate Program (SFMA) is a “Citi Finance Leadership Development Program” for MBA candidates and continues to be a significant feeder pool for the Full Time Finance Management Associate Program. Summer FMAs have the opportunity to work closely with senior-level finance managers in key functional specialties Controllers, Treasury, Strategy, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, M&A and Investor Relations. The 10-week program is unique due to the various product/function/legal entity perspectives the Finance Associates experience, allowing Summer FMAs to work on challenging projects designed to test skills while providing a learning opportunity and adding value.

Training:

Our Summer Finance Associates will begin their program in New York City with a series of classroom training sessions. Training is designed to aid Summer Associates in maximizing effectiveness and efficiency in the workplace during their summer with Citi. Associates will receive an orientation to Citi, including business overviews from senior professionals within the Finance Function. Training will highlight current topics in the banking industry, technical finance and accounting skills, and communication and presentation skills.

Analyst

Global Risk
The Global Risk Track is a two-year program followed by permanent placement and is structured to respond to the increasingly quantitative and technical demands of the financial world. As an Analyst with strong technical and quantitative abilities, you will have the opportunity to spend time across the Citi Risk businesses, including Global Commercial, Global Consumer, Private Bank, Institutional Clients Group, Franchise Risk Architecture and the CAO Office.

Institutional Clients Group Risk Management
The Institutional Clients Group Risk Track is a two-year program followed by an opportunity for a third-year position, pending business need and Analyst performance. You will be directly placed into one of the ICG Risk Businesses.

Commercial Risk
The Global Commercial Risk Analyst Program is designed to develop a pipeline of commercial risk analysts to support the credit analysis, underwriting, deal structuring and credit approval needs of our Commercial Bank businesses, globally. Each participant will be assigned to a Credit Risk team in a specific country within the Commercial Bank, for their final placement. This will allow program participants to gain a deeper understanding of the risk policies and practices that guide the credit analysis and underwriting processes. Participants will have the opportunity to apply the lessons learned from training to commercial credit requests and to receive coaching from experienced commercial risk management professionals.

Summer Analyst

Analyst

The Global Consumer Technology Leadership Program is designed to put technology careers on the fast track. Each Program Member's experience begins with a three-week Springboard to Success program, designed to provide an orientation to our business as well as key skills, tools and information to prepare participants for success as they take on their first rotational role. Three eight-month rotations in both technical and project management roles across multiple lines of business provide a strong foundation for a stellar career. Assigned coaches and mentors help facilitate both business and rotational transitions, and support active career management strategies. TLP Rotations will be offered in each of these five locations: Baltimore, MD; Blue Ash, OH (Cincinnati Marketplace); Irving, TX (Dallas Marketplace); Jacksonville, FL; O'Fallon, MO (St. Louis Marketplace). If you have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or Business (technology focused) and have strong project management skills, a high level of intellectual curiosity, demonstrated leadership and top-level interpersonal skills, you could be an ideal fit for this program.

Summer Analyst

The Summer Technology Leadership Program is a challenging opportunity designed to engage both rising college juniors and seniors in a 10-week assignment within the Information Technology (IT) business unit. Assignments may involve work in the applications development area, infrastructure, business intelligence, web development, or other IT disciplines. Working in team settings, summer interns solve business problems that are emblematic of contemporary work environments, and gain exposure to a large, complex organization managed by different leadership styles. Interns will be partnered with influential managers who will provide engaging and high-profile work projects during the summer. Interns are expected to conclude the summer by delivering presentations to senior business leaders that show what they learned and make suggestions to move the business forward.

The Chief Technology Office is responsible for Citi's overall Information Technology strategy.
