The Global Cross Asset Group (CAG) is responsible for manufacturing and distributing market-linked trading and investment products across all asset classes. CAG’s activities include product development, pricing, product analysis, packaging, marketing and distribution.
Products created by CAG are marketed to a broad spectrum of clients, ranging from individuals (mass affluent and high-net worth investors) through to institutional and corporate investors. On the retail side, both self-directed investors and those who buy on an advised basis through intermediaries are catered for. The majority of business generated by CAG globally is executed through third party advisory channels. Citi internal channels (Citi Private Bank and Global Consumer Group) are also key global clients of this business.
CAG is able to provide a complete range of services depending on the needs of the customer. The service model is flexible and goes from pure option pricing, to partnerships with distributors, including a full service offering under the CitiFirst brand. CAG provides a high level of after-sales service, including secondary market making, information and analysis about existing products on an ongoing basis.
